Parents Forced to Pay Double for Their Daughter's "Free" Public Education

My Objective Standard post, Parents Narrowly Avoid Jail after Enrolling Daughter in Less-Bad Government School, highlights the inherent dishonesty of government schools. Here is the opening paragraph:

The alleged purpose of the tax-funded government school system is to provide a “free education” to every child based on every child’s “right” to an education. That didn’t work out very well for Philadelphia residents Hamlet and Olesia Garcia.

My tax credit education reform proposal published in three years ago in TOS would have spared these parents their angst and saved their child from the inferior public schools of their district.
