because a libertarian by definition does not seek to run a country. He
seeks to establish a country where people are free to run their own lives,
governed by a government that protects that freedom by establishing a legal
structure geared to protecting individual rights.
On that premise, the historical evidence of
successful libertarian experiments is everywhere, starting with the United
States of America. If success is measured in terms of general standard of
living, the extent of a country’s individual freedom is the extent of a
country’s success.
